ProJet received an order for a Power Cleaners on the Oven Belts for Tamko, Ennis, TX. Tamko Build Products is a leading independent manufacturer of residential roofing shingles. The shingles are produced using fiberglass mat as a backing layer and covering these with asphalt.
The fiberglass mat is produced on several sites in the US, one of these is Ennis, TX. The Ennis facility will be equipped with a new Oven Section, which is used for curing the fiberglass and binder. The oven belt tends to build up fairly quickly with contamination, which is acrylic binder and fibers, during normal production. This contamination needs to be cleaned very efficiently to be able to maintain normal operation.
ProJet has many references in the Glass Mat Manufacturing Industry already, which is the reason that Tamko selected ProJet as preferred supplier because ProJet’s Power Cleaner has the unique features and benefits which guarantee the most effective cleaning result. This leads to optimum drying performance of the belts throughout the lifetime of the belts.
The equipment will be delivered in December 2021, start-up is scheduled for 2022. The value of the order will not be disclosed.
