ProJet at TappiCon 2022, Booth #732, to present ProTrim
ProJet has a booth at the TAPPICon where it will present all most recent developments and technologies. Most important show case will be the Dry End Edge Trim system, “ProTrim” recently sold to several customers around the world. ProTrim uses a pressure of up to 4,000bar / 60,000psi and can be installed after the calender or before the winder/reel.
- After the calender: to cut the uncalendered edges and by doing so protect the edges of the rolls because the web is run wider than the nip and thermal stress on covers is prevented.
- Before winder: enables bypassing of the re-reeler; only rolls requiring patching or splicing are re-reeled because the ProTrim is used for format adjustment
